Order processed promptly and CPA were very helpful in arranging preferred delivery day. Final courier in the chain was spot on and kerbside drop exactly where I wanted it. Driver flagged that bottom couple of bags were split and took photos, by the time I moved the load decided that probably hadn't been enough lost to raise issue. As for the product looks, smells and handles as expected only time will tell on performance but have already recommended to others.

Excellent compost. Used it last year on garden of new our build house with great results last summer: Newly planted flowers, shrubs and trees all did well. Bought another 20 sacks this spring. These are easy to move ariound.

CPA Horticulture Mushroom Compost.
Bought this a cheaper alternative to Horse Manure Mulch for the purpose of bulking up a few beds.
Its wet, it's clumpy, and its a bit more inconvenient to handle, the bags are large & heavy.
Not my preferred mulch. Ideally I would leave this to rot down for 6 months before use.
I spread a bag and its hard work, unlike the Horse Manure Mulch.
Delivery was ok, very late in the day and the driver said I was lucky because he was not going to make his last 4 drops but he did mine as he was round the corner.

Compost not truly aged as yet but plenty of micro fungal presence. Strong strudel bags but 5/30 were damaged and compost leaking.
Driver not helpful normally this is delivered into garden over a 1.5 inch max curb but thus time was tkd definitely not possible........hmmm

All arrived on time and the driver left the pallet as requested. The compost looks good but a little fresh so I've used it as a top dressing on my asparagus beds. Have also added 2 bags to my compost bin and given it a good stir to mix it in, for use later.

Mushroom compost is an amazing substance that is excellent on the allotment, rather than weed seed infested farm yard “compost”.
I purchased 40 bags of mushroom compost that was delivered to my house. We slowly moved these bags to the allotment and they have since been rotatvated in. I am expected good yields next year
